Clipfinch (“Clipfinch”, “we”, “us”) is a social-media publishing platform operated by Orbilon Technologies. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@clipfinch.com.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and the company/workspace details you provide at signup (company name, website, industry, team size).
• Connected social accounts — when you connect a channel (e.g. LinkedIn, TikTok), we receive an access token and basic profile details (account id, display name, avatar) from that platform via OAuth. We never receive or store your social account password.
• Content you create — captions, media (images/video) you upload, schedules, and the posts you publish through the platform.
• Usage & technical data — basic logs needed to operate the service (e.g. request metadata, error logs) and an authentication cookie for your session.

How we use your data

• To provide the service — composing, scheduling, and publishing posts to the channels you connect.
• To authenticate you and keep your account and workspace secure.
• To operate delegated posting so team members can publish without seeing account passwords.
• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. verification and service emails).

How connected-account tokens are protected

Access tokens for your connected channels are encrypted at restand are readable only by the background publishing service — never by other users and never exposed to the browser. You can disconnect any channel at any time, which revokes our stored access. This is core to how a manager can post on a company’s behalf without ever receiving its passwords.

Service providers we share data with

We use trusted processors to run the service. We do not sell your personal data.

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — storage of the media you upload.
• SMTP2GO — delivery of transactional emails (e.g. verification codes).
• Social platforms — when you publish, your content is sent to the platform you selected (e.g. LinkedIn, TikTok) under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect channels, delete content, or request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@clipfinch.com. Disconnecting a channel deletes its stored tokens.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@clipfinch.com and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
